Terms and conditions

Article 1 – Legal status of the contract.

This lease is entered as a temporary residence. The premises can be used as a primary or even secondary. The customer may not practice any business, craft or profession. The occupant client can invoke the legal provisions applicable to residential leases, particularly with regard to tenure. Accordingly, the contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code and by the conditions set forth herein.

Article 2 – Reservation.

Booking a room at the Maison de Mezos is valid only after acceptance of booking the customer by the House Mezos. The confirmation of the booking the client by the House Mezos rest at its discretion. Moreover, the reservation has to be firm, be guaranteed by a credit card issued by a reputed institute and valid or the full payment.

Group bookings, ie bookings on 5 units reserved by the same entity in the same period, are subject to the specific conditions of the groups.

Different conditions may be applied for special offers. In this case, the features mentioned in the description of the tariff on the booking page or the relevant communication medium supersede the conditions mentioned above.

Article 3 – Payment.

The customer’s departure day, the House Mezos present to the customer invoice hosting his visit. The customer will then pay the total amount vat on the invoice. In the event it was agreed that payment of the guest’s stay is made by a third party, the customer -occupant- remain jointly liable for payment in question. Payment for all optional services will be required on presentation of the invoice. If remaining unpaid after the departure of the customer balance, the House Mezos reserves the right to debit his credit card in the amount of the shortfall.

Article 4 – Price.

Prices are in euros. They include all taxes and include only the provision of housing. They do not include taxes of stay or optional benefits.

Article 5 – Deposit.

No security deposit

Article 6 – Changes to stay.

The length of stay is that provided in the booking confirmation or in the supply of accommodation. Subject to availability and at the discretion of the House Mezo length of stay can be extended, without obligation to maintain in the same house or the same price. If accepted extension and application of a new price, it will be applicable from the first effective date of the extension. In case of early departure, the applicable price will be the one corresponding to the duration and shortened and will apply from the date of his arrival. He asked the customer to prevent Mezos house the new departure date at least 48 hours before it. Ignoring this deadline will result in the payment of the entire stay.

Article 7 – Cancellation / No show.

All cancellations must be notified in writing to the House Mezos. The effective date of a written cancellation will be the date of receipt thereof. In case of cancellation, compensation will be paid to the House Mezos by detailed application criteria below:

living room doubles, twin, triple room, suite, cabin, caravan:

– From 01 January 2016 to July 9, 2016 and August 23, 2016 to December 31, 2016: cancellations received less than 72 hours the day of the arrival date will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the entire stay.

– July 10, 2016 to August 22, 2016, Cancellations received within 7 days of the arrival date will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the entire stay.

Failure to arrive (booking) in the absence of cancellation will be deemed a “no show” or “no show” and be subject to the benefits outlined above.

Exceptional or special rates are likely to be “non-refundable” regardless of the cancellation date. In this case, the cancellation policy detailed above do not apply and the total prepaid amount will not be refunded regardless of the reason.

Article 8 – Arrival and departure.

Key collection takes place from 14 am on the day of arrival. They must be made before 12 h 00 the day of departure. The House Mezos, having different opening days and times, it is the client to check them during the reservation and, if necessary, to prevent the establishment of an arrival or departure time slots out opening. The House Mezos then make arrangements directly with the client to communicate the procedure.

Article 9 – Customer Obligations.

Accommodation is available at the customer’s disposal in a good state of repair. The customer will use the rented premises and their installations in “good father.” It must respect the maximum occupancy standards for rented accommodation stated on fee schedules by type of dwelling. During the stay and client departure the House Mezos reserves the right to enter the rented premises for maintenance or safety.

Article 10 – After sales service.

The teams on the site are available during your stay to respond to complaints, resolve any malfunctions noted and allow to fully enjoy the stay. All claims will be subject of a letter sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to TDL SARL, La Maison de Mezos, Church Square – the town, 40170 MEZOS.

Article 11 – Changes to services.

If circumstances require it, and only in cases of force majeure independent of his will, the House Mezos could be forced to partially or totally modify its services, both concerning accommodation that additional benefits as breakfast. The undelivered will not be charged but no compensation can be claimed.

Article 12 – Termination – Penalty – Non-renewal.

The contract will be automatically terminated without formality and without delay, in case of failure by the customer of any of its obligations or unsuitable conduct to disrupt the stay of other occupants. The client must leave the premises immediately and can be evicted if necessary with the assistance of the police.
